So Sunday night guy became Saturday night guy, and now, in a bold, unprecedented move, Monday night guy too. Tuesday night guy is usually American Idol guy in Holden, but he's disappeared into the hinderlands and I haven't heard from him, so it seems like he's lost his place in the lineup. He expressed his disinterest in American Idol to me last week, and we haven't spoken since. And I'm kind of digging Mr. Saturday, Sunday, Monday night guy. In another unprecedented move, we talked politics on Monday night, and we still like each other. Two bottles of Pinot Grigio may have helped.
One little glitch: he complimented Cassy's blog and writing profusely. Okay, granted, Cassy is a great writer, but she's from the south! Of course she has an advantage over a sarcastic, angry New Yorker who doesn't pay attention to any details and doesn't see what's right in front of her nose.
