I'm sitting at my cube, minding my own business, when a loud scream coming from the cube next over catches my attention: "did you know that Switzerland invaded Lichtenstein?" I almost fell off my chair and ran to see what Mike was getting excited about. Sho-nuff, an article on Boston.com was reporting on Switzerland *accidentally* invading Lichtenstein.
Lichtenstein: "about 34,000 inhabitants and is slightly smaller than Washington DC, doesn't have an army."
Even the Minister of Interior of Licthenstein says the invasion is no big deal.
Now just imagine if 170 troops from Mexico ended up lost in Texas (had gone over the wall by mistake). George Bush making a public statement saying "It's all right. It's not like they were going to bomb us or something."
Right.
Lichtenstein obviously does not have oil.
Texas on the other hand, you just to mess with.
Lessons learned:
- Get a navigation system. Getting lost in the United States could really get you in trouble.

Well since living in Switzerland I learnt that the average swiss (and of course dear blog subscibers you are not average swiss) is not a driver which i would consider as good...slow, not very orientied and well very much following the rules. But that swiss have such a bad sense of orientation ?!?!
ReplyDeletePat I am sure you should invest in that navi system before you invest into these great boots we just saw on the web.
The boots Silke is referring to are the ones Cassie's friend is making. If you haven't visited Cassie's blog, you should. Not just because of the great boots.
